Michael Bernard Winfield

It is with deepest regret that the Winfield family announces the passing from this life of their son, brother and former spouse, Mr. Michael Winfield, 58, formerly of Valley, Alabama, and a current resident of Columbus, GA. Mr. Winfield transitioned from this life on Friday, May 6, 2022 at Muscogee Manor, Columbus, GA.

Mr. Winfield was preceded in death by his stepfather, James Willie Horton, and brother, Vincent James (Winfield) Horton.

Michael is survived by his father, Jessie Lee; mother, Mildred Lou (Winfield) Horton; wife, Juanita (Riser) Winfield; four siblings: Elizabeth Murray (Gregory) of Valdosta, GA, Willie Horton (Monica) of Columbus, Georgia; Daniel Horton (Tashara) of Houston, Texas; Terry Horton of Orlando Florida; two grandchildren, DeVonte Cook and Joshua Horton; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 

Our deepest sympathy and respect are extended to Mr. Winfield's family and friends as they journey through this period of bereavement.
