Demetrius Montrell Davis

Mr. Demetrius Montrell Davis was born on April 26, 1975 in Chambers County Alabama to Isiah Dunn and Betty Jean Davis. At the age of 46, he departed his life on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at George H. Lanier Memorial Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his spouse: Addie W. Davis; mother: Betty Jean Davis; maternal grandparents: Robert & Lillian Davis; paternal grandparents: Henry & Loula Dunn.

Demetrius was educated in the Chambers County School System. He was known to the community as “Montrell” and was very adamant about helping others, especially his family. Montrell was a hard worker who loved to work in general, his specialty was detailing cars. He enjoyed spending time visiting his family & friends when he was able. He was employed with ATP until his health began to fail. 

He leaves to cherish his memories: a devoted father, Isiah Dunn of Valley, AL; One precious daughter: LaCrystal Michelle Davis of Cusseta, AL. One precious son: Demetrius Montrell Davis Jr. of Smiths Station, AL. Granddaughter: Zoey Tolbert of Cusseta, AL. Two special brothers: Asa Roberta Davis of Valley, AL & Isiah Tumbs of Lanett, AL; 3 loving sisters: Annie (Larry) Robinson of Columbus, GA; Iris Jefferson of Columbus, GA; JaVonne (Darquaillius) Davis of LaGrange, GA. Uncles: Morris  Davis of Cleveland, OH; Royzell Dunn of Valley, AL; Earlie (LaRhonda) Davis of Opelika, AL. Aunts: Ms. Ruth Stoudemire of White Plains, MD; Eloise Dunn & Lena M. Dunn of Valley, AL; Brenda (Jessie) White of Lanett, AL; Evelyn (Dennis) Thomas of Valley, AL; One special aunt Sue Crim-Davis of Valley, AL. 4 great aunts,  A loving mother on earth: Janice Tumbs. One special childhood friend: Connery Trez Booker; special friend: Shirley Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
